This wonderful establishment has been in business since the 1930’s. Great country food with good service and a fabulous view of the Ox Bow Bend of the Ohio River. We come for the Coconut Cream Pie! Enjoy fried chicken, liver and onions, catfish, Reuben’s burgers, meatloaf and other homemade favorites. Don’t pass up the fresh made soups and salads. The bean and ham soup is excellent. The staff is friendly and eager to assist with taking group photos with a beautiful view in the background. There is also outside seating available. The drive getting here is also very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The wait was a little long but not bad. It was well worth it. The food was excellent. Although it was a hot day, I chose the pot pie, which I'm a sucker for, anyway. Hot day or not, I had no regrets. The crust was perfect. My girlfriend ordered the livers and they were equally as good. I'm glad we took a chance. We'll definitely go back when we're next in the neighborhood. I usually snap a picture before I dig in, but I obviously couldn't wait this time.

Catfish, Cole slaw are amazing. Fries are run of the mill. Cordon Bleu was very good. Mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans were also very good. Kids mac in cheese and apple sauce also pleased. The Spinach artichoke dip was way above par. The coconut cream pie and chocolates are extremely satisfying. The staff were great and extremely courteous. We loved the scenery overlooking the Ohio river. A great dining experience!

What a nice little restaurant. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The food was freshly made and hot.The cod was lovely. I didn't care for the green beans mostly because they were from a can and not seasoned as well as i would have liked. Other than that, it was a great meal with a beautiful view!

Loved the atmosphere, the view and the staff. The food was 5 star on parts of it and 4 on others. The shrimp and scallops were plump and juicy, the glaze was great! Their home made tarter is also wonderful! The rice was so so. My hubby liked the chicken pot pie and I sampled and agreed. Very tasty with a great crust. Interior was thin but it was plenty of food as we were stuffed. The mashed potatoes were so so and the gravy was the “not the best” part. Maybe out of a box? Salad was great and so was the homemade ranch.

Food was awesome, but man, that view was just next-level chill and super calming. Staff was really nice and helpful too. It's a two-hour drive from my place, but honestly, I'm already planning my next trip back.

We drove 2.7 hours down to enjoy the Cat Fish and Chicken Pot Pie. We were not disappointed. Our server Carrie was an absolute dream. She was just attentive enough while also not overwhelming. I could go on and on about my Cat Fish it is the best I have had since leaving South Carolina. The view is amazing... but the food is better than the view.

Hidden gem 6 minutes off the highway. Was driving thru for work and stopped on a whim. Beautiful scenery, charming restaurant the food was out of this world. I had the ham and bean soup and the fried chicken and they were both amazing. I will be stopping here again
